Executive Overview
The Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Supportability Engineering Management Training Program, designed by MilSOFT in alignment with NATO standards, offers a comprehensive and hands-on approach to lifecycle sustainment planning for mission-critical defence systems. This 5-day classroom-based course delivers a structured learning path grounded in internationally recognized frameworks such as MIL-HDBK-502A, GEIA-STD-0007C, DEF STAN 00-600, NATO ALP-10, and the ASD/AIA S-Series Specifications.
Tailored for defence program managers, ILS practitioners, system engineers, and logisticians, the training focuses on enhancing readiness and operational availability while minimizing lifecycle cost. Each day addresses a distinct theme—from ILS fundamentals and planning, to supportability analysis, supply chain provisioning, performance-based logistics, and maintenance management. The program combines lectures, real-world case studies, and scenario-based exercises to ensure knowledge transfer and practical application.
Key value elements of the program include:
Alignment with NATO and Allied acquisition requirements
Structured methodology for ILS/IPS implementation
Emphasis on performance-based sustainment and data-driven support planning
Applied sessions on spare parts optimization, obsolescence management, and PBL contracting
Delivery by experienced subject matter experts with NATO/defence project experience
Training is conducted in English or in Turkish at MilSOFT’s premises in Ankara or in customer's location, with all materials provided in digital format. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate of achievement.
This program not only strengthens technical competencies in supportability and sustainment but also enables participants to contribute effectively to the design and execution of robust product support strategies across complex defence environments.
